Amir Avniel is the Chief Business Officer and cofounder of Beyond Air. He has more than 20 years of experience leading biotechnology companies. Prior to Beyond Air, he cofounded Rosetta Green, which was eventually acquired by Monsanto. Prior to Rosetta Green, he served as the president and the Chief Executive Officer of Rosetta Genomics, a NASDAQ company.
He studied computer science at The Academic College of Tel Aviv-Jaffa and earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and Humanities from The Open University of Israel. Prior to his academic studies, he served as an officer in the Israel Defense Forces, where he was awarded 4 commendations for excellence.
